There are brands that are still rolling out Android Pie to their new devices. And then there are phone manufacturers like Samsung which introduced the latest Android 10 on its phones much earlier than expected. Now, it’s time to talk about the brand Nokia. Towards the end of August, HMD Global unveiled its schedule for Nokia smartphones to receive Android 10.

After getting the Android 10 software on the Nokia 9 Pureview, the Nokia 8.1 is the second device in the league that has already received the updated version. Now, if we go by the roadmap of Nokia, there are going to be a couple of smartphones which will receive Android 10 very soon.

In a special event where HMD Global launched a new budget smartphone Nokia 2.3, Pranav Shroff, General Manager of HMD Global announced that the Nokia 7.1 will get updated to Android 10 as early as next week. The event took place in Cairo, Egypt on December 5.

In January 2020, Nokia will roll out the Android 10 update to Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus and 7 Plus. The next set of smartphones to receive the software update will be Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 in the same month of January. The rest of the Nokia lineup will follow the previously released roadmap.
